Private Experiences · 20 Minutes From San Antonio

Throw Your Own Rodeo

Your group. Your ranch. Your night.

A private rodeo, built for your group! Line Dancing Lessons. Trick Roping and Bullwhip Experts. Vintage Gun Shooting. Mechanical Bull Rides. Wagon rides through the Back Forty. Campfires and S’mores. Live Bands. And an entire Old West town, 20 minutes from San Antonio, reserved just for you.

The Difference

There’s nothing like this anywhere near San Antonio. That’s the point.

Enchanted Springs Ranch isn’t a venue with a theme. It’s a fully immersive Old West town in the Texas Hill Country, featuring dozens of authentic 1800’s storefronts — 20 minutes from San Antonio and a hundred years from everything else.

When you book a private rodeo with us, you’re not renting a room. You’re taking over the whole town! And your guests aren’t spectators — there’s no grandstand out here, partner, because everybody gets a turn.

You’re not watching a show. You’re in it.

Line Dancing Lessons

The Silver Spur Saloon features a seventy-foot dance floor, built-in lighting and a true dance hall feel. Professional instructors will have your whole group two-stepping before the night is out! Boots optional, but encouraged.

Trick Roping & Bullwhip Show

Our resident expert puts on a full stage show of roping and bullwhip artistry — and your guests are part of the act! Don’t be surprised when the one standing inside the loop is somebody from your own table.

Vintage Gun Shooting

Take your turn with a collection of vintage guns at the Six Gun Saloon, with an attendant right alongside you the whole way. No experience needed, partner — just the smell of powder, the crack of real iron, and a turn for everybody!

Mechanical Bull Rides

The bull sits on a large inflated landing pad and runs with trained operators, so it is a whole lot gentler than it looks! This is the one that gets the entire group crowded around, cheering each other on.

Back Forty Wagon Rides

Roll out through the Back Forty and get up close to buffalo, longhorns and other exotic animals — from the seat of a wagon, not from behind a fence. They don’t mind the company, as long as they get their treats!

Campfires & S’mores

A guest favorite, every single time! When the night winds down, the fires come up. It’s where the good conversations happen — and nobody is ever too grown up for s’mores.

These are the guest favorites, but the list does not stop here! Every rodeo is built to order, so if there is something else Old West you would like to add to the night, just ask and we will see what we can rustle up.

Questions Planners Ask

Planning a rodeo near San Antonio? Start here.

We are on State Highway 46 just outside Boerne — about 20 minutes from La Cantera and the 1604 corridor, 30 minutes from San Antonio International Airport, and 35 minutes from downtown San Antonio and the River Walk. Acres of parking, with motorcoach and bus access right into town.

Not in the roughstock-and-competition sense, and we would rather say so up front! A rodeo at Enchanted Springs Ranch is a private Old West night built in the spirit of one. Instead of sitting in a grandstand watching professionals compete, your group is the one riding the mechanical bull, stepping into the trick roper’s loop, taking a turn with the vintage guns, learning to two-step and rolling out to the Back Forty on a wagon. Nobody watches from the stands, because there are no stands — that is the whole idea!

They take part, and that is the whole point. Your group rides the mechanical bull, takes a turn with the vintage guns, learns to two-step and gets pulled into the trick roping act. There is no grandstand here — everybody gets a turn.

From a single team to 3,000 and up, festival style. The Silver Spur Saloon seats 400 and holds 600 or more standing, the Six Gun Saloon seats 120, and the Old West town and the Back Forty handle the big ones.

You pick your acts — line dancing lessons, trick roping and bullwhip, vintage gun shooting, the mechanical bull, wagon rides through the Back Forty, campfires and s’mores — and we handle everything else: planning, setup, entertainment, coordination and breakdown. Catering, bar service and live music are all available in house, so there is no vendor list for you to manage!

Yes. Corporate groups are most of what we do — team building days, company parties, client entertainment and conference off-sites. The rodeo is the centerpiece, and the whole venue is private to your group for the night.

Yes. We host corporate events and student travel groups that arrive by bus all season. Coaches pull in and unload right at the edge of the Old West town.

Yes. It sits on a large inflated landing pad and runs with trained operators, and the speed is set to each rider. Guests from about eight years old up can take a turn.

The earlier the better, especially in spring and fall. Send us your dates and your group size and we will tell you honestly what is still open.

We do — corporate events, team building, company picnics, weddings and galas at the same venue. Have a look at Our Spaces to see everything the ranch can do.
