What’s a Rehearsal Dinner?


The ceremony rehearsal typically takes place the night before the wedding day. Brides are having a blast with fun rehearsal dinner ideas and turning them into truly personalized, fun events that start off their wedding weekend with a bang! Our ESR team can help you put together a fun, memorable evening with those that are coming to celebrate with you.

The entertainment possibilities are endless! From line dancing to a professional roping show, live music or a mechanical bull! We can capture the memories with an on-site photo booth or bring in your own PowerPoint and use our in-house projector and screen to display your own.

What ceremony sites do you offer?

We have several locations for the exchange of your wedding vows. Our beautiful lakefront setting is a beautiful venue for an outdoor ceremony that captures the heart of Texas beauty that represents the Texas Hill Country. Complimented by a beautiful double wooden door entry, the flagstone archway and walkway lead to a beautiful backdrop of a flowing waterfall.

If you’d prefer to have your ceremony in the Old West town, there are several outdoor or indoor venues. The most notable is our Old West styled, rustic indoor chapel. The white wood chapel has tall ceilings and can seat 150 guests.

What reception sites do you offer?

Our indoor saloons are perfect for wedding receptions that want some Texas flair. Silver Spur Saloon is a beautiful rustic venue that can accommodate 350 guests. The saloon is equipped with a built-in bar, indoor restrooms, large stage and dance floor. Silver Spur also features beautiful festoon lights and an open air sky light with a beautiful live oak tree strung in lights.

Six Gun Saloon can accommodate 120 guests and features a built-in bar, a large stage and dance floor. Surrounded by Old West storefronts and outdoor patios and balconies, host cocktail hours nearby with a unique Old West town backdrop, perfect for photo opportunities!

How many people can your venue accommodate?

ESR is a hill country wedding venue that can accommodate hundreds of guests. The entire ranch has hosted thousands of people at a time, so it all depends on what you envision for your special day! Utilize the entire old west town, set up large tents, use one or both saloons – the options are endless. With over 15,000 square feet and multiple reception areas around the Old West small town, you can completely customize your day. What can my guests do while I’m taking photos after the ceremony?

Brides typically host a cocktail hour for their guests while they are taking photos to commemorate their special day. Show your guests a truly unique experience during a one-of-a-kind cocktail hour! Your guests could take a wagon ride to view exotic animals, take a fun line dancing lesson before the reception, or relax and play some over-sized lawn games.

What about decor? What’s Included?

We have an extensive inventory of rustic centerpieces to choose from. All wedding packages include customized floor plans, white padded resin chairs for the ceremony and reception, in-house tables and more. You are also more than welcome to bring your own decorations for the ceremony and reception.

Do you have a list of preferred vendors?

We have an amazing list of wedding vendors that provide incredible service. However, we never restrict the client to bring in their preferred choice.
