San Antonio Field Trips at the Ranch!
Back to school marks a great time in the year. It means many exciting things are on the horizon such as cooler fall weather, football and field trips! In this blog, we’ll talk about hosting your next ISD field trip at Enchanted Springs Ranch!
Enchanted Springs Ranch is a private event venue located in the Texas Hill Country 25 minutes from San Antonio in Boerne, TX. ESR is the perfect venue for your next corporate event, private event, wedding, team building event, field trip or filming location. The Old West town is ideal for many outings, especially field trips! With school starting, we are excited to see field trip inquiries coming through daily. It is such a special feeling getting to spend the day with children to help them learn about Texas history in an interactive environment. During field trips, children get to participate in many activities while learning valuable information.
Children will get to meet one of our friendly Texas longhorns, Woodrow or Knock Knock. They will get to learn fun facts about the longhorn and what makes these animals so special. They will have the chance to pet the longhorn and have their teacher or parent snap a photo! The children love hearing about the longhorns and asking whatever questions they might have.
Another activity is the tractor wagon ride through our 86-acres of lush pastures and wooded hills. While on the ride passengers will be viewing longhorns, llamas, exotic deer, white tail deer, antelope, real American buffalo, and much more. They will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these animals.
One of the things that makes Enchanted Springs Ranch so special is our Old West town. Take a walk through our Western town with a cowboy and learn about Texas and the way life was in the 1800s.
Visit the replica of a native American teepee that gives a great perspective on their lifestyle.
Bring your sack lunch and enjoy our covered picnic area and playground. Field trips last from 10:00am-1:00pm with a sack lunch at 12:00pm. The playground is always a big hit with the children. They also love the opportunity to explore the western town with their classmates and friends. Parents, there are lots of great photo opportunities in town so make sure to bring your camera!
